Boil Water Notice Issued for Poinciana Village 7 Residents

Date: May 12, 2024

Poinciana, FL — The Toho Water Authority (Toho) has announced a boil water notice for residents of the Village 7 area in Poinciana, effective immediately.

This precautionary measure affects all households located south of Lake Marion Creek to Lake Hatchineha Rd. due to a recent equipment failure at a local water treatment facility.

Residents are urged to boil all water for one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. Alternatively, bottled water can be used for these purposes. The notice will remain in effect until further notice from Toho, who is actively working to resolve the issue and ensure water safety.

Toho advises customers to stay informed through updates posted on the News & Alerts page of their website at tohowater.com. Customers with questions or concerns can contact Toho’s customer service center at 407-944-5000 or via email at customerservice@tohowater.com.
