Pasco County, FL – A hit-and-run incident on Old Dixie Highway last night left a 67-year-old Hudson woman with serious injuries. The crash occurred at approximately 10:10 PM south of Hudson Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).


Reports indicate that a vehicle, believed to be a 2010-2011 Mazda, was traveling southbound on Old Dixie Highway when it struck a pedestrian who was using a walker. The circumstances that led the pedestrian to be on the highway are still unclear. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision.


The injured woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for her serious injuries. Her condition has not yet been disclosed.
