Fatal Pasco County Crash
Pasco County, FL. - A tragic accident on Woodbine Drive in Pasco County resulted in the death of a 76-year-old man from Hudson. The incident occurred at the intersection of Powderhorn Row when a fatal collision unfolded between a motorcycle and a truck towing a boat.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened as a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by the elderly Hudson man, was traveling northbound directly behind a GMC Sierra. The GMC, operated by a 58-year-old man from New Port Richey, was also heading north when it attempted to make a left turn at the intersection. Simultaneously, the motorcyclist attempted to pass the truck on the left.
The motorcycle collided with the left front portion of the GMC Sierra, causing the Hudson man to be thrown from his bike. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the GMC Sierra remained unharmed.
