Bushnell, FL. - Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Bushnell Claims Life of 21-year-old man according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The incident occurred on May 19, 2024, at 12:53 AM, when a Ford Taurus, driven by the Bushnell man, was traveling northbound on CR-616. As the vehicle approached the intersection of CR-48, for unknown reasons, the driver failed to stop. The vehicle continued through the intersection and collided with a tree.
The impact of the collision was severe, and the driver sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FHP is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, including why the driver did not stop at the intersection. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
