FHP: Investigation underway: Fatal crash involving motorcycle and car on International Drive

Orlando, FL — A tragic accident occurred this evening at approximately 5:39 P.M. on International Drive and Meadow Bend Loop, resulting in one fatality and another individual in critical condition.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), troopers are currently on the scene investigating the fatal crash, which involved a 2022 Indian Motorcycle and a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage.
Preliminary evidence suggests that the driver of the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage, an adult female whose identity is pending confirmation, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the 2022 Indian Motorcycle, an adult male also pending identification, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
There is currently a roadblock on International Drive as the investigation continues. FHP is working diligently to gather more information.
