Winter Haven, FL – PCSO: Car Burglaries at The Shores at Lake Sears. On May 29th, Polk County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) deputies launched an investigation into multiple car burglaries at The Shores at Lake Sears, located at the intersection of Spirit Lake Road and Winter Lake Road in Winter Haven.
Security footage from one of the residences captured a suspect attempting to burgle two vehicles by flipping door handles. The video highlights the effectiveness of simply locking car doors to prevent such crimes. Watch the security footage here.
The suspect, seen wearing a black hoodie, black face cover, black Nike pants, black Crocs, and black/gray gloves, is also believed to be involved in other recent burglaries in the Jan Phyl Village area of Winter Haven.
