The arrest, which took place less than a week after the incident on March 11, 2024, has provided a significant relief to the local community.

The robbery, which unfolded at the bank's 850 Cypress Parkway location shortly before noon, had put the town on high alert. An unidentified male suspect had approached a bank teller, presenting a note that demanded money. Under duress, the teller complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash to the robber who then fled the scene, leaving behind a community in shock and prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement.
