Lakeland, FL – According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, in a decisive action to curb juvenile delinquency and address community concerns, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested ten individuals, including eight juveniles, during a raid on an open house party in Lakeland. The operation occurred on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, around 5:00 p.m., following reports of a juvenile violating her probation and disturbances at a rental property.
The investigation began on July 23, 2024, when deputies were looking into recent vehicle burglaries and thefts in the Country Club Lane area of unincorporated Crystal Lake. Residents had reported that a rental home, leased by Sandra Gross, had become a hotspot for juveniles at all hours of the night.

However, during a search, eight juveniles were found inside the residence, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A Crown Royal bag containing marijuana was discovered on the living room couch, and a grinder with marijuana was found on a bedside table.
