Three-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Ronald Reagan Parkway, All Drivers Hospitalized

Davenport, FL — According to the Polk County Fire Rescue, emergency responders from the Polk County Fire Rescue (PCFR) and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision late yesterday evening. The crash occurred around 9:28 p.m. at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Heritage Pass.
Upon arrival, crews reported moderate to heavy damage to all three vehicles involved. Initially, a medical helicopter was placed on standby due to concerns about the severity of the crash, but the helicopter was later cancelled after on-scene evaluations.
All drivers were transported to a local hospital, though the extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time. Responding units included Battalion Chief 002, Engine 033, Medical Rescue 033, Medical Rescue 038, and Tower 033.
The crash led to lane closures in the area, but emergency crews worked quickly to clear the scene. As of now, all lanes have been reopened to traffic.
